Kiiyoshi is the creation of Shawn Tigges. Major Allen Thompson (Skull) is a creation of Hotrod. Space Rover Academy - "One Year On" The scene opens up in Pan's quarters on the SRS Constellation. Pan is a black furred Americian CockerSpaniel. Around her quarters is some of the objects she took with her from Earth. It includes pictures of her husband, Bruin (King Shepherd) and their daughter Tawny. Pan sighs looking at the pictures. PAN (sad) I miss you two . . . There is a tiny whimper coming from a bunk converted into a crib. Pan walks over to the crib. Inside was a mixed breed puppy infant puppy. This is Brett, Pan's son which was born on the Constellation three months ago. She picks him up. PAN (holds him) Oh Brett, I wish you can meet your father and sister. Brett gives a small whimpers as Pan takes him into the kitchen to get him a bottle. The scene switches to an outdoor field at the Space Rover Academy in the late afternoon. There was a martial arts class being run by a King Shepherd named Bruin. He is the academy's hand-to-hand combat instructor. The students are following as he is teaching. BRUIN (commanding) Punch, punch, kick. Punch, punch, kick. Warrior is watching from the sidelines with Delhi. Shankar, Sam, James, Skyler and Koolie are among the students in the class. DELHI (smiles): They are quite a group, aren't they? WARRIOR (nods) Yes. (sighs) Polly has been trying to get Bruin to take some time off. DELHI (confused) Why? WARRIOR (sighs) Bruin's wife was on the Constellation. Polly thinks Bruin should take some time off and spend more time with his daughter. DELHI (nods): I see BRUIN (commanding) Kick high! Punch! WARRIOR (sighs) It has been a year since Constellation disappeared. DELHI (lowers head): At least we know the crew survived from Hiru. WARRIOR (looks at James, Koolie and Skyler) James, Koolie and Skyler were lucky that they missed the flight when they were locked in the holodeck. //////////////////////////////FLASHBACK////////////////////////////// The scene is the holodeck area of the Academy. In one of the holodecks, James, Koolie and Skyler are stuck inside. KOOLIE (growls at Skyler) We are going to miss our flight because of you, mate. SKYLER (pressing the holodeck controls) It is not my fault that the holodeck malfuctioned. KOOLIE (upset): What are we going to do? I hate confined spaces! Suddenly the doors are forced open. It is Bruin using his super strengh. His little daughter, Tawny is with him. BRUIN: Are you guys okay? KOOLIE (excited): I'm fine now! FREEDOM!!! THANK YOU!!! SKYLER (hurried): We still have time to make the launch! C'mon! BRUIN: I thought you guys are supposed to be on the Constellation. It just took off. TAWNY: It is going bye-bye. KOOLIE (frantic): WHAT??? Impossible! James, Skyler and I were supposed to be on it! How could they leave without us? SKULL (walks by) Have you seen Cadet Millie? She wasn't in my class today. SKYLER (shrugs): Nope, have you asked her best friend? The two are always together SKULL (confused) James, Skyler, Koolie, aren't you supposed to be on the Constellation test flight? KOOLIE (sighs): Yes we were, but apparently they couldn't wait for us! SKYLER (scratches head): Come to think of it, I haven't seen Angie around either... TAWNY (holding Bruin's leg) Mommy has gone bye-bye. KOOLIE (smiling): But she'll be back. It's just a test flight.... (looks over at Skyler): That WE missed because of YOU! SKULL: I'll have to see Warrior now about Millie. Skull walks off. SKYLER (softly): I'm sorry, I never meant for us to be trapped in there JAMES (upset) I was looking forward to the test flight. KOOLIE (upset): Me too! SKYLER (defensive): I said I was sorry, what's the big deal? We'll go see Warrior, explain what happened and then get him to assign us to the next test flight WARRIOR (on comm) Would all senior staff come to the Space Rover Mission Control Communications Tower. Contact was lost with Constellation. BRUIN (stunned) What?! KOOLIE (stunned): OH NO! Bruin picks up Tawny and runs toward Space Rover Mission Control. James, Koolie, and Skyler follow him. \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\END FLASHBACK\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Bruin was finishing his class. Tawny who just sneaked out of daycare comes over. TAWNY (smiles) Hello papa. BRUIN (happy): Tawny! How is my big girl today? TAWNY (smiles) I had a dream about mommy during naptime. BRUIN (sadly): Tawny..... we talked about this with the counsellor.. TAWNY (upset) But in my dream she was with a little puppy. She looked sad though. Warrior and Delhi walk over. TAWNY (calm) I know she will talk to us soon. BRUIN (stunned): Tawny! WARRIOR (looks sad): Tawny, please try to understand. Your mother is missing, along with the rest of the Constellation crew. We're doing everything we can to discover where they are. DELHI (calmer): I sense Tawny has traces of the powers of her mother. I don't think we can entirely dismiss what she is saying BRUIN (confused) Powers? I didn't know my wife had powers. DELHI (Nods): Yes, Bruin. Your wife had been working with me to develop her special abilities, but it was done privately, she wasn't really sure if she had them or not JAMES (turns to them) Tawny said on the day that Constellation was lost that it was going "bye-bye." DELHI (stunned): Really? (calmly): Tawny, did you have any dreams or images about the ship the day it launched? TAWNY: It started a few months ago. I seen her on the flying a large ship with Miss Lola. The ship went into a werid whirlpool. DELHI (stunned): On that day? Are you certain? WARRIOR (confused): Miss Lola? BRUIN (stunned) Cadet Lola was on the Constellation. She was Pan's best friend. DELHI (nods): Yes, I remember, her name was on the crew list. There's no way Tawny could've known that. SKYLER (sneeks away, turns to Koolie and James, whispers) Lets head to the lab. We got our special project to work on. KOOLIE (whispers) But Warrior said when he caught us in the lab that we are not authorized to work there. JAME (nods) And Shankar got in trouble for using his powers to get our long range probe into space. SKYLER (whispers): If I'm right, Warrior and the entire Academy and Space Rover Mission Control will thank us. JAMES (whispers) Commander Anders is getting suspious that I am your lookout. SKYLER (calmly): I know. We need to be careful James, Koolie, and Skyler walk through Space Rover Mission Control and head to the lab. SKYLER (whispers) We don't want to be caught in the lab again by Warrior or Anders. JAMES (whispers) I can't sense Commander Anders or any of the senior staff near here. Skyler types on a panel by the lab door. COMPUTER (voice) Access Denined KOOLIE (sighs) Let me try. Koolie takes out her datapad and connects it to the panel. It beeps. COMPUTER (voice) Access Granted. JAMES (whispers) I'll watch for security and Commander Anders. Good luck. As Koolie and Skyler enter the lab, James sees Commander Anders coming down the hall. JAMES (gulps) Oh no . . . In the lab, both Koolie and Skyler were working on the systems. KOOLIE (turns to Skyler) I got your settings ready, mate. SKYLER (nods) Lets try this . . . (presses buttons) SRS Constellation, this is Cadet Skyler, do you read? KOOLIE (sighs) No response. JAMES (whispers): Hide! Here comes Anders! Skyler, Koolie, and James hide behind the computer systems. ANDERS (looking around): I could swear I heard voices...... (shrugs): Oh well, time for me to check the offices The three cadets come out of hiding. SKYLER (whispers) That was a close one. KOOLIE (sighs) Crickey. JAMES (whispers): Better get back to work, who knows who will show up next? SKYLER (to Koolie) Lets make changes to the settings and try to strenghen the signal on the long range probe. Meanwhile, Pan was walking through the halls carrying Brett. Brett babbles in baby talk as they walk. She stops at a door and knocks on it. VOICE (Austrailian accent, behind door) Come in. The door opens and inside was Lola (female Austrailan Cattle Dog) and Mercedes (Female Fila Brasileiro). LOLA (smiles) G'day, mate. MERCEDES (smiles) Cumprimentos! PAN (smiles) Thanks for looking after Brett for me at short notice. Mei-Ling is sick and Fetch asked me take her place at the communications station. MERCEDES (smiles) It's not a problem for me. (confused) Why didn't Fetch ask Sachiko? She is more experienced at Communications. PAN (sets Brett down on a blanket) Sachiko is working in the astrometrics lab with Buster, Wer-Vil and Jezzy. They are scanning for barium deposits on non-K'Tob worlds. LOLA (nods) Fetch wants to open up other areas of the ship. (giggles) I know Buster wants the holodeck open. PAN (looks at her watch) We better head to the bridge, Lola. James, Skyler, and Koolie work through out the night. JAMES (yawns) We tried all night. We better head back to our bunks . . . . SKYLER (tired) We are close . . . I know it. Cadet Skyler to Constellation . . . . Do you read? Commander Anders bursts into the lab. ANDERS (stern) Cadets James, Koolie, and Skyler. You were told this area is restricted! SKYLER (tired) But sir . . . ANDERS (sternly): You will cease what you are doing and come with me now! The Commandant will want to ask you a few questions On the Constellation, Pan is working on her consule. She hears some static and the voice starting to come through. PAN (confused) That's weird . . . FETCH (ears perk up): What's that, Pan? PAN (looks up) I'm picking up something on the Space Rover channel. HEATHER (stunned): Space Rover Channel? ROCKO (laughs): Is there an echo in here? SKYLER (distorted, audio) Cadet . . .Sk. . .Cons. . .lation FETCH (sternly): Clear that signal up! More power to the communications station! LOLA (nods) On it, mate. Lola presses some buttons. AREO (brightens) I know that voice. That is Skyler. HEATHER (stunned): Skyler? Back at the Academy? DUNKARD (nods) He is one of the three cadets that missed the flight. FETCH (anxious): Hurry! Home in on that signal! Pan presses some buttons. SKYLER (audio, clearer) Cadet Sk . . . to Const . lation PAN (shouts): This is the Constellation! Go ahead! At the Academy, Warrior and Delhi pass by as Anders was starting to escort James, Skyler, and Koolie out of the lab. ANDERS (stern) You cadets are going on report! Warrior and Delhi pass by. WARRIOR (stern) Commander Anders, what is going on? ANDERS (stern) Cadets James, Koolie, and Skyler disobeyed orders and I caught them in the lab again. WARRIOR (sternly): Cadets, what have you to say for yourselves? PAN (voice on comm): This is the Constellation, go ahead! DELHI (stunned) Did I hear something? SKYLER (excited): It's THEM! WE DID IT! WE RAISED THE CONSTELLATION!! Skyler runs back to the lab, SKYLER (excited, presses buttons) Pan! PAN (on comm): Skyler? Is that you? This is Ensign Pan of the Constellation Warrior, Delhi, Anders, James, and Koolie enter the lab, SKYLER (excited) Yes, it's me! DELHI (happy): Little Tawny was right about making contact! SKYLER (excited) Is everyone okay? PAN (on comm): Yes! We're all alive and well! I'm transmitting our daily logs to you, I hope that we can stay connected long enough to complete it SKYLER (nods) Okay. Commandant Warrior is here . . . PAN (on comm) Commander Fetch is on the bridge as well. FETCH (on comm) Commandant . . . WARRIOR (excited): FETCH! I never thought I'd hear your voice again! FETCH (excited, on comm) Same here, Commandant. HEATHER (pleading, on comm) Is there a way to get us back! WARRIOR (shouting): Don't just stand there Cadets! Try and triangulate their location before we loose the signal! HURRY!!!! Little Tawny runs into the lab with Bruin chasing her. Bruin is unaware contact was made. BRUIN (stern) Tawny get back here! You are not allowed in there! TAWNY (upset) I want to talk to mommy! Koolie, James, and Skyler work on the machine to track down the Constellation. PAN (on comm, surprised) Tawny? Bruin? BRUIN (stunned) Pan? SKYLER (worried) We are starting to lose the signal. WARRIOR (shouts): Boost the signal! Emergency power to communications! KOOLIE (presses buttons) I'm trying but something is hacking the signal. WARRIOR (surprised): Hacking? How? KOOLIE (presses buttons) It is like they are tracing the signal. SKYLER (looks on the screen) I don't reconize that energy pattern. WARRIOR (sternly): What can we do about it? The scene switches to the bridge of the Constellation. BUSTER (on comm) Commander Fetch, we got a big problem! Wer-Vil and Jezzy found out that there is a K'Tob ship hacking into our communications system. WER-VIL (on comm) I'll try to block them, Commander. FETCH (stern) Be careful, we can't lose that signal. PAN (pressing buttons) I'm boosting more power to communications. The scene swtiches back to the Academy's lab. SKYLER (sighs) We lost the signal. KOOLIE (sighs) The signal that hacked into ours sent a feedback pulse and fried the long range proble. SKYLER (looks on computer) We recieved most of their logs. WARRIOR (excited): We need to inform the Master right away! (turns towards them): Good work, Cadets! BRUIN (turns to the cadets) Is any of my wife's logs among the ones recieved? KOOLIE (looks on screen) There are a few logs and reports by her. DELHI (sternly): Quickly, let's analyze them JAMES (reads) Three people have joined the crew since they began their journey. One of them is a Willian. (stunned) Another one is another Space Rover, named Jezzy. DELHI (surprised): JEZZY??? BRUIN (stunned) Isn't she the one that brought Lionheart to the Galatea and then ran off with him because she was affected with Daisy's Love potion? WARRIOR (nods): That's right, how did Jezzy end up in the Beta Quadrant? DELHI (turns to Warrior) My guess is the love potion wore off and Lionheart dumped her there. KOOLIE (turns to Warrior) We should contact Ki-Alla about the Willian named Wer-Vil. WARRIOR (nods): Indeed! DELHI (concerned): Cadets, were you able to trace their signal? SKYLER (shakes head) No ma'am . . . BRUIN (reads Pan's logs, stunned) Oh my! Pan was pregnant when she left Earth . . . I have a son . . . TAWNY (looks at Bruin) I told you in my dream, mommy with a puppy. DELHI (stunned): Amazing! She was correct! JAMES (smiles) She must be Physic. WARRIOR (nods): It's possible. Well Cadets, since you have worked so hard to contact the Constellation, then I am assigning all of you permanent duty here, to gather as much data as you can and to communicate with the Constellation as much as possible DELHI (smiles) I think they deserve a promotion too. ANDERS (upset): Promotion? For violating direct orders and sneaking around and... WARRIOR (sternly): And I'm the one in charge here! (nods): I concur with Delhi BRUIN (nods) I agree as well. The scene whichs to Warrior's office an hour later. He is speaking to Ki-Alla. WARRIOR (calm) One of your people a Willian named Wer-Vil, is on the SRS Constellation in the Beta Quadrant. KI-ALLA (on comm): Wer-Vil? Are you certain? WARRIOR (read reports) According to the reports he fell into the Beta Quadrant over two years ago. The Constellation saved him from slavery. KI-ALLA (on comm): Such joyous news! Ensign Wer-Vil was listed as missing after he disappeared during a new warp engine test flight. WARRIOR (nods) We are working on trying to contact the Constellation again and find a way to bring him and the others home. KI-ALLA (on comm): All of us here on Graum 7 will lend you any assistance your team will need WARRIOR (nods) Thanks, Ki-alla. KI-ALLA (on comm): This is fantastic news I must share with my people. Ki-Alla out.... In the hallway, Delhi is having a talk with Bruin. DELHI (smiles) Little Tawny is a special child, just like her mother. I would like to give her private lessons. BRUIN (concerned): I don't know. She's so young, this may be asking too much of her. DELHI (calm)Tawny has already began to use her powers. She will need to learn to control them before her visons over power her. BRUIN (nods): I suppose you're right, but Tawny's my baby, the closest thing I have to ..... (sobs) Well....you know what I mean, ma'am. DELHI (nods) I know what you mean. The scene shifts to Space Rover Mission Control's ceromony room. James, Koolie, and Skyler are getting promoted in front of some of the staff and students. WARRIOR (smiles) We are here to congraute three young cadets. Yesterday, they made contact with the SRS Constellation. I hearby promote Cadets Skyler, Koolie, and James to Ensign and assign them to their first mission to re-establish that contact as part of our staff. The group applauds and cheers. WARRIOR (smiles) Some day the SRS Constellation will come home. BRUIN (holding Tawny, quietly): I sure hope so, I miss my wife and the son I never knew I had. TAWNY (whispers) I know mommy misses you too. Bruin hugs Tawny and sobs. The scene shifts to the lounge of the SRS Constellation. Everyone is celebrating. ANGIE (giggles) I'm just surprised that Skyler is finally did something other than playing in the holodeck all day. JEZZY (excited): So they'll be sending a rescue ship after us now, right? SERGE (shakes head): Nyet comrade. They still do not know exactly where we are BUSTER (sighs) An enemy ship sent back a feedback pulse. It fried some of our communications systems. PAN (sighs, holding Brett) At least I managed to send some of our logs. The other Space Rovers know that we are out there. (turns to Wer-Vil) Maybe Warrior could have contacted Ki-Alla about you. WER-VIL (sighs): I do miss home. I miss the suns rising about Mt Ditata, the water flowing up Kno-wel Falls..... PAN (sighs) I been there once with my husband and daughter. JEZZY (smirks): I'd just settle on going home. I've had enough of space, aliens and all this universe jumping. ROCKO (smiles) I'm sure we will get home soon, doll. JEZZY (grabs Rocko's muzzle) Don't ever call me, doll. MAULER (laughs): Looks like she's a fiesty one, Rocko. She might be the next Iron Pants! SERGE (growling): NYET! Do not insult my Heather like that! BUSTER (smiles) Don't mind Rocko, Jezebel. He has a one track mind. Millie walks by Rocko and gives him a hot tail. ROCKO (jumps back): Hey! What's the deal here, babe? MILLIE (giggles) Just having fun. JEZZY (laughs) Good one, Millie. MAULER (laughs): That IS funny! You should've seen the look on your face! ROCKO (upset): Shut up! Angie creates a chunk of ice and puts it down Rocko's shirt. ROCKO (shakes himeslf): WHOA!! HEY!! MAULER (laughing): Now that's even funnier! Is that a new dance? the Comsic Shake? Millie, Angie, and Jezzy laugh at Rocko. ROCKO (points): How would you like to find a snake in your bed, Mauler? MAULER (laughs): Still won't be as funny as you are right now! JEZZY (sad): I wish I have special powers like yours, Millie and Angie MILLIE (smiles): Hey, we're not so special ANGIE (nods): That's right, Millie and I are just your everyday girls. MAULER (smiles): And I'm an everyday guy! How about a date, cutie? ANGIE (whispers to Mauler) Maybe later. JEZZY (whispers): Do those two guys always act like that? MILLIE (nods): Yep, they're not exactly regulation types ANGIE (smiles): But that keeps things fun Fetch gets ready to give a toast holding a glass high. FETCH (smiles) To Skyler, James, and Koolie for making contact with our ship.
